Fun with Tessellation

A tessellation is part of geometry.  You can identify a tessellation when you see a shape that can be neatly fitted together again and again with no gaps.

Once you start looking you can find lots of examples of tessellations in the world around you: buildings, machines, toys and natural objects.  Many amazing tessellations are made by nature!
